Hi

 

My Fido account was frauded. There was an address from Barrie on my account. 

This also triggered an address change on my credit report. 

I reported this fraud to Fido support and fraud department.  I was told I will be contacted within 72hours.

It has been more than three months. I have left messages for the person dealing my case but have not received any response from the department.

 

This is the worst service I have ever seen.

I am stuck with this fraud. Can someone from Fido please confirm what is happening.

Hi Kamalpreets!

Right now your situation is something! You need to contact equifax and transunion to add a fraud note to your credit folder to block next identity theft.

You also need to recover your identity, you need to purchase an insurance from equifax, with this insurance you will get help from equifax to recover your identity, and you will get an money insurance for futur frauds. You need also to contact the Canada AntiFraud Center. You need to have a new ASN (NAS in french), new cards from your bank, new driving license etc... Equifax will help you.
