I currently have an activate discount on my existing line and was hoping switching to an eSIM from my physical SIM would not void my discount. I need to note that if I change my plan that it voids the discount entirely.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

Welcome to the community!
Switching SIMs does not change your plan so you can go ahead and switch your SIM.
If you actually change your plan it would remove all discounts and promotions.
