Do I need approval for cell booster?

I am a new Fido customer. Cell reception in this semi-remote area is very poor. I have purchased a SolidRF booster. Do I need Fido approval to use it. My house is in middle of a 20 acre plot of land with no near neighbours. There is a Rogers tower about 10 km away. Without the booster, reception is one bar at best. I can sometimes call but audio reception is poor.

@pecharters , hi there. I don't believe you need permission to use a cellular booster. A lot of people use them for various circumstances, they are quite common in rural areas. If I am giving you the wrong information, I hope someone else will jump in and correct me. Cheers

Thanks. That's what I was looking for. The manual is probably geared to the US.
