Changing sim card online

I’m having trouble registering my SIM card I have an old sim number and trying to transfer to the new one but it keeps showing the number I wrong checked multiple times to see the number is correct don’t think I’m wrong can some one please help

I just got a new iPhone 8
The old SIM card is wrong that's what it says
