I filed a lost phone case for my IPhone XR, and Brightstar rejected my claim, and labelled the case as “misleading.” Upon requesting for an explanation, they said they will call me and explain. I received no calls, and requested for a number that I can call on, and guess what, Brightstar refused to provide one. After 3 days of persistence, I finally get a call from the Asset protection team, left a voicemail stating the same details “the information provided for your lost phone is misleading, do not try to contact us as the decision will not be OVERTURNED.”
What at does this sound like to you? An INSURANCE COMPANY TELLS YOU UPFRONT DO NOT CONTACT US FOR A REASON. Our decision is FINAL. They have eaten away my monthly subscription of $13 just to result such actions.
They don’t provide any reason to their actions, and beware, anyone who chooses Brightstar will fall for this scam!!!!
Avoid this insurance bs at any cost, save your monthly $13.
