Adding a second line and porting a chatr number over

Hi

Wondering if anyone know if this is possible.  I currently have a 35gb plan, and I plan to open a 2nd line with a 6gb plan for my partner.  I'm looking to move my number out of the 35gb plan to the new 6gb and use the originally 35gb for my partners phone which is currently with chatr and requires to be ported over.  Is that possible to move the lines like that?

Hello Vdubz78,

  Welcome to the community!

  Unfortunately, what you are intending to do is not possible. The plans are associated with the phone numbers and are non-transferable. Your partner would not be able to get your current plan when they port-over. They would have to use the second line plan. The only way your partner could use your current plan is if you switched phone numbers.
