Markham, Ontario Fido home internet has a much higher ping than normal

This issue is mainly in regards to my ping or latency while playing League of legends. Normally, my ping is around 28-30. But for the past week, it's just been constant 56-60+ ping . I'm on the ethernet. Switching the coax cable doesn't do anything, rebooting the modemn doesn't do anything, switching the DNS server doesnt do anything. Even a technician has come over to my house and checked that all signal levels are normal.

A number of things can affect your ping time, try clearing your PC cache and try disconnecting a few devices that are connected to the network and see if it helps reduce your ping time.
