Hey there Community peeps!
Fido is once again proud to be involved in the Pride celebrations held in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. The experience in Toronto at the end of June was simply amazing, and we can’t wait to live it up during the Vancouver Pride weekend, from August 4 to August 6. It’s going to be quite the gathering – an eventful and colourful day, in every sense of the word.
Come meet up with us on Friday, August 4, between 6:00 p.m. and midnight; we’ll be partying on Davie Street. You’ll notice a huge 10-foot obelisk pillar set up at the Jim Deva Plaza, right in the middle of the street party. This interactive installation will be all lit up and will actually hold three microphones, which will capture sound and display a light show to its beat. This interactive experience will encourage you to interact in order to produce different patterns throughout the evening! Cool, no!? The installation will be set up to dazzle you during the entire weekend. If you want to dance, no one will stop you. In fact, a “Silent Disco” featuring two DJs playing simultaneously will prompt you to it as of 6:00 p.m.!
Can you think of a better way to spend the day of Sunday, August 6, than hanging at the beach? If you cannot, then you should definitely head out to Sunset Beach, where the Pride festivities will be held between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.! There will be plenty of charging and face painting stations on site, as well as other surprises. Now all we need is you to make it the bash it is meant to be! Capture the moment and rack up your selfies with pride anytime throughout the day of August 6, thanks to a custom Vancouver Pride Snapchat filter.
You can meet up with us during the parade as of noon! Check out the complete itinerary or get more info directly on the Vancouver Pride Society website.
Remember to follow us on Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for anything related to the @fidomobile Pride events and share your experiences using #GoGetProud.
Come join us as we celebrate and promote equal rights for everyone, inclusion and diversity!
See you there!
