Do you love snowboarding? Will you be in Montreal on December 5th? If so, you’re in luck. Mad luck. Empire City Troopers is here with Operation Urban Snowboard!
35 of the best snowboarders in North America will be riding and jibbing the longest urban snowboard course in Canada! In total, some 60 competitors—including amateurs as well as the sport’s elite, show their stuff on a 25 foot high slope that’s also 250 feet long and follows the natural curve of rue Saint-Denis. The course includes 3 obstacles that the riders must hit with sufficient magnitude and style to really impress the judges.
And guess what? The event is entirely free!
Check out the program:
- Noon to 2 pm: Initiation to Burton snowboarding for youngsters (3 to 6 years old)
- 2:30 to 4:30 pm: Qualifying rounds, open to all
- 4:30 to 5 pm: Practice, semi finalists
- 5 to 7 pm: Dinner break
- 7 to 9 pm: Semi finals
- 9:15 to 10 pm: Final
- 10:15 pm: Awarding of prizes
- 10:30 pm: Coors Banquet and Jagermeister Party at l’Abreuvoir (18+)
