Just an FYI, all third party billings to your device were chosen in the Google play store or after downloading an app or game. To turn off carrier billings, go to Google play store and select payments and subscription, payment method, add Fido billing. If this is enabled DISABLE IT.
To remove a credit card from the playstore, payments and subscription, payment methods, more settings and remove credit card.
Never provide a cell phone number in app or if offered a gift 🎁 pop up in an app.
You don't need a credit card on file with Google play to access apps, but pay attention to the conditions you agree to when downloading games, premium texting apps, or gambling games, etc. Treat your app store account like your banking information, keep it safe.
