We have all been there...first look at our screens shows a mass of chaotic, unorganized, colorful app and folder icons and we are nerviously looking for that Google Translate app to be able to quickly show off to how say "cheers" in 3 other languages. Or better, we hoped our photo icon was just there, we almost had it, but now...ahhh the moment is gone, we were too late finding it!
My tip is no ground-shaking break-through, but rather a common sense suggestion - spend few minutes to organize your apps - it will save you time later!
You either:
- Color code the app icons - from yellow, through orange etc. basically rainbow colors
- Organize by topic in folders:
- Photo folder: camera, instagram, photo editing app
- Talk: Messenger, Google Hangouts, WhatsApp, FaceTime
- Music: Spotify, Google Music
- News: BBC, CNN, Financial Times
- Read: Google Books, Flipboard, all my magazines
- Sports: ScoreMobile, NBA etc...
