Want your phone to require a PIN code to be unlocked most of the time but not when you're just sitting at home and feel the urge to Google something? Under Android 5.0+ it's possible. Just enable Smart Lock under Settings > Security > Smart Lock. From there, you can select "secure places" where you're phone will not require a PIN.
