port number to other operator before end of contract

Hi everone,

I am on 2 year contract and completed  12 months.

I can see good offers around from other operators. Can I port my number to other operator? 

Will there be any penalty or need to pay remaining amount only?

Do I need to pay before porting or it will be included in final bill?

Hello @Sandesh,

You can definitely port the number and it will automatically cancel your Fido line.

Your final invoice will be prorated and you will just be billed for the days you had service until the port, the invoice will also include the remaining balance of the device.

There is no other charges or penalties.
