I've had an iPhone 7 since 2018. (Upgraded through Fido & it's all paid off). However, I wanted to purchase an new iPhone through the official Apple website, so would I have to manually update my device on my Fido account or will it automatically detect my new device once I put my current SIM card in? (Will be keeping my current phone plan & SIM card etc). In conclusion, do I have to notify Fido of my new device or can I just use my SIM card in my new device & use it right away?

Hi @Sebina ,all you need to do is put your Sim in your new device. Shouldn't be an issue as @BobC83 mentioned. Just swap out the Sim and enjoy the new phone. Cheers

You should be able to swap SIM cards and be up and running. That's what I've done for years. Worst case scenario is you have to go in and register the IMEI (phone's digital identifer) with Fido.
