You can contact customer service and they can issue a refund but I would suggest you just leave it because by the time the refund gets issued your next invoice might be ready and the funds can just be applied to the next invoice.
However, if you have the balance because you canceled the account the balance will be refunded after your final invoice has been produced and will be sent out via cheque which can take up to 6 weeks before you receive it, you can, however, request the money be refunded to the card you paid from providing you paid with a card and you will need to request that before the cheque is issued.
