Hi,
I'll spend a full month in Europe and was planning to use a non-Fido eSim that covers all the countries there. But I'm currently using phone purchased through Fido (which I'm still paying off monthly).
Would my European eSim work since the phone is technically, I assume, "locked"?

Hi @Natalijadavid welcome to the forum. To use an esim, assuming you have a device that is esim capable, all you have to do is order it from the carrier of your choice and download it to your device. Once you have it on your device, go into sim settings and turn off the fido sim and turn on the esim as your primary. Once done with it when you come back home, do the reverse. turn on your Fido sim as primary and turn off the esim. If you no longer want the esim on your device, you can delete it. All carrier phones in Canada are unlocked to use wherever you like.
