Text to donate tax receipts

I’ve been donating to the Red Cross through their text-to-donate campaign with Fido. Would I get an annual tax receipt for my donation?

You can contact the Red Cross at WeCare@redcross.ca or call 1-800-418-1111 to request a copy of your receipt. If you email them, include your full name, address, the amount of the donation as well as the method of your donation.

Receipts for monthly donations are sent in February of each year.
