I cancelled my internet on Dec 7th. I specifically asked the rep if the
cancellation is set for Dec 7th, and he told me "Your internet account
will be deactivated on December 7th 2018." I did this to avoid any
partial charges since that's my billing ...
I cancelled Fido internet yesterday I asked the rep on the phone if I
can just return the modem to any Fido store. He said "yes any Fido store
is fine". I know there is one near my place that's less than 5km away,
it also shows up on Google maps. But...

hardwired LAN to my pc and also ac wirless at 5Ghz. Both the modem and
my router were hard rebooted. all signal levels shown in the modem page
are quite close to optimal. I teste...
