This trick worked for me everytime my phone bugs out or just stutters too often. I reboot the system and don't touch it for a good 5 minutes. After that everything should be running smoothly again

Your phone may have decent specs and latest software, but if you overbloat your device with widgets, it will run slow. Remove all widgets that you don't need such as weather, news, etc.       ** Edited to add labels **
