To remove the notch from your display, go toSettings > Display > New Second Screen. Select the Custom radio button and tap on the black circle below

Enable iPhone screen recording by  going to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls. Select the plus icon next to Screen Recording. A Screen Record icon should now appear in your Control Center
