Fido

So during an open-enrollment period, we can add device protection to a non-fido phone?When do these periods take place?

I bought and new and expensive phone on sunday from a third party... and i want device protection on it.I got a great deal on it and dont want to have re-purchase it from anywhere else for msrp or having to sign a new contract. 

I have not signed up for device protection yet. I was hoping to with the new phone I bought from a third party.Are you saying there are periods in which fido will allow non-fido phones?If so, when?and why periodically (and not constantly)?

That's just great ! (Sarcasm!)So i'm stuck with this expensive phone with no insurance on it.It would have been nice if fido specified that on the website.There's no mention of excluding 3rd party/non-fido phones.A key piece of information convenient...
