Relax. It has nothing to do with Fido "allowing it". You may want to inform yourself a bit better before ranting like this. Fido users will get ICS at the same time as Rogers, Bell, Telus, and AT&T. Wind & Mobilicity have the same radios as T-Mobi...
If you go into "settings" then "about phone" you should see something like I9020A... (EDIT: it's under "baseband version")All of us on Fido (and Rogers, Bell, Telus) have this same version, common with AT&T in the U.S.
