Dears,

I'm planning to buy Asus Zenfone 10 but I heard that it might have some compitability issues with some networks so I wanted to ask before first ordering the phone.

I hope to get some help if the phone will work with Fido with 0 issues or there might be some problems.

This is the phone page link

Thank you,

AlWaqfi

Hello Alwaqfi,

Firstly, you should note that there appears to be two versions of that device. According to that link, these appear to be the specifications:

WW version

5G Non-Standalone (NSA): n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n28, n38, n41, n77, n78
5G Standalone (SA): n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n28, n38, n41 , n77, n78
FDD-LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 26, 28)
TD-LTE (Bands 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42)
WCDMA (Bands 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 19)
EDGE/GPRS/GSM (2, 3, 5, 😎

US version

5G Non-Standalone (NSA): n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n38, n40, n41, n66, n71, n77, n78
5G Standalone (SA): n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n38, n40, n41, n66, n71, n77, n78
FDD-LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 30, 66, 71)
TD-LTE (Bands 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42)
WCDMA (Bands 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 19)
EDGE/GPRS/GSM (2, 3, 5, 😎

While both of those versions have compatible bands/frequencies for the networks, the US version appears to have more compatible LTE bands/frequencies. It should be mentioned that Fido does not currently offer 5G services so you might consider verifying those bands/frequencies with other providers should you decide you want access to 5G networks.

According to those specifications, that phone should work on the networks. However, it's unlikely it will be with zero issues. Since neither of those versions are offered by Fido, it is unlikely certain features (ie voLTE and/or Wifi-calling) will work.

Hope this helps 😀

Cheers
