Things to know

  • Reserving a phone does not guarantee you will get the price, nor any promotions available at the time of reservation. You will pay for the phone and get the offers available at the time of pick-up in store.
  • We charge a $40 reservation fee at the time of the reservation.
    • We automatically refund the fee once we ship the phone to the store or if you cancel your reservation.
    • The refund will appear on the following invoice (or the following credit card statement for new customers).
  • You will get email updates with the status of reservation and your place in line. You can also track your order online directly through the reservation system.
  • Your order may show In Progress for a few days before we start the shipping process.
  • You will get a call from the store when your order is ready for pick-up.
  • Only the account holder or an authorized contact level 1, with a government picture ID, can pick up a reserved phone.

Existing Customers

  • To reserve, you have to log in as the account holder on fido.ca/myaccount.
  • Your account must be in good standing. If it’s restricted for any reason, the Phone Reservation button won’t work.

New Customers

  • You’ll have to activate a new line when you pick up your phone. We’ll have to complete a credit check during the activation process.
  • Make sure to bring your reservation number, so you can get the device you reserved.
  • You can reserve a maximum of 2 devices, but only 1 per brand regardless of the colour or memory size (e.g. only one iPhone, plus one Samsung, plus only one Blackberry, etc.).

Before you go to the store to pick up your new phone, why not get a quote for your old phone and trade it in for a credit! We wrote about how the FidoTRADE™ program had a makeover a little while back. Check it out!
