Stay connected abroad. Don’t sweat the bill

Fido Roam lets you use your data, talk and text from your existing Fido postpaid mobile plan (not available with Data and Text only and prepaid plans) in the U.S for $12 a calendar day or internationally in tons of destinations for $15 a calendar day. The daily fee covers each calendar day of usage until 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), regardless of which time zone you are roaming in.

You will be charged for every calendar day (based on ET) that you use your device to make or receive a call, send a text message or use data while abroad. You’ll pay for up to 20 calendar days per billing cycle only, per zone.

Want to keep roaming after that? No problem, it’s on us for the rest of your billing cycle.

The welcome message is sent once every 14 days for each roaming destination that the customers travel to. If the customer leaves and comes back to the same destination within less than 14 days, they won't get the welcome message the second time they enter the destination. Only if it is after 14 days, will they get a new notification.

• You automatically benefit from the Fido Roam rates if you have a monthly postpaid account.
• All you have to do is switch on data roaming in your phone’s settings and start using your phone.
• No need to plan or purchase ahead when visiting a Fido Roam eligible destination, you’re automatically covered.

Your monthly plan follows you where you go

• Use the data, talk and text that come with your monthly plan in any eligible destination.
• Fido Roam works the same way as on a monthly plan with local or Canada-wide minutes: calls and texts to local numbers, within the destination you’re in, and back to anywhere in Canada are included and will not be charged long-distance – airtime still applies. 
• All calls and texts to other international destinations will be charged based on the plan and options in your account.
• Your regular overage rates apply if you go over your plan’s data or minutes.

Stay connected in tons of destinations around the world

Seamlessly travel within the same Fido Roam zone or between zones (U.S. and International) in 185 destinations.

• If you travel from place to place, but stay within the same Fido Roam zone within the same period the daily rate will only be charged once.
