Negative balance after down payment

Hi there

I recently upgraded to the S24 and did a down payment of 268.80$ but when I open my fido app it has that amount in the negative I have received a conformation email thanking me for my credit card payment so I'm just confused what this negative amount means.

It appears that the amount you paid was applied as a bill payment instead of a down payment towards your device. If you wish to make a down payment or additional lump sum payments towards your device, please contact customer service and they will process the transaction for you.
