Back orders

I placed order for iPhone 13 (used) and I received confirmation same day that device will be shipped 2-5 and working days, next week I will be called and they told me it's back order!

Every week I'm calling and receiving confirmation I'll receive it same or next week, now I'm in the 4th week but nothing yet, I want you to go back to recorded calls I had with Fido. 

Why you are selling back ordered used devices? Make sure first you have them and make an offer after that instead of processing your client with lies. 

  • Get me new one instead of keep falsing me.

  I understand it might be frustrating not receiving a purchased device in short order. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if those orders will ever be fulfilled. The availability of used devices is not as stable as new current models. Any sales would have been for existing stock of those devices. If there does not appear to be any remaining devices, I'm doubtful they will be able to obtain more of those devices.

 

  I also understand you feel they shouldn't advertise stock of used devices which they don't have. As mentioned above, used devices would be of limited availabilty. If they have a certain number of those devices (say 100, for example) and more customers choose that option than there are units available (say 150 orders, for example) before the system is able to update its availablity, then some customers unfortunately won't have their orders fulfilled. Those unfulfilled orders would be labelled as backordered.

 

  If they can source those devices, they will be able to fulfill those orders. However, since they are used devices, I think the likelihood of them being able to source them is slim since it is dependent on customers returning or trading-in that particular device.
