Hello,

 

Okay - so my fido phone number/postpaid plan has been inactive since around 2014 (I have been without a phone since), not only that but it is also under my mother's name/account. 

 

I am hoping to keep that same number but port it over to a new sim card with a prepaid plan on my own account. 

 

Is this possible?

To answer your question, yes, it is possible. First, we need the Account Holder to contact us to authorize the migration of the line to prepaid. Once the authorization is provided, we'll be able to transfer the line under your name and complete the migration to prepaid at the same time.
