iTunes not recognizing iPhone

My iTunes is not recognizing my iPhone when I plug it in and the phone only shows the Apple logo but won't turn on.

Try a forced restore. To do so, have iTunes open, plug in the USB charger to the computer but NOT the iPhone, hold down the HOME button for 10 seconds then plug in the charger to the iPhone, keep holding the home button for up to a minute and iTunes should detect the iPhone.
