Samsung Galaxy Q problem with MMS, app centre update, and Kies

Hi, I am having a very annoying problem with my Samsung Galaxy Q

so when I visit the app. centre via my mobile the first thing it tells me to do is to update

but after I do that for some reason the MMS stops functioning, i.e. I cannot send nor receive MMS.

I tried working around that by resetting the mobile back to factory state and using Kies PC suite...

Then guess what, Kies says that my model is not supported

In short, I want to be able to download app. without losing MMS function

any help would be appreciated, thanks

@ Community: Can anyone assist zeshanyao with this situation? Has anyone experienced this with their Galaxy Q? How were you able to get this resolved?

@ zeshanyao: After the update, are your APN settings still in the phone's settings? Is data still On?
