Old Non Fido Device

Hello,

My phone recently broke so I tried putting my SIM in an old 1st gen IPhone SE.  An error message is coming up on the phone and on my fideo site it says non fido phone. Is there a way to get this unlocked?

  Welcome to the community!

  Unfortunately, I don't think Fido will be able to unlock a non-Fido phone (see here). As far as I am aware, you might need to contact the carrier from where the device was purchased to have them provide the unlock code (see here). However, some policies might require additional stipulations (ie current or recent customer).

  If the carrier is unable to unlock the device, you might consider a third-party unlocking service.
