Dear Fido Customer Support,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to report a manufacturer defect in my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip device, which I purchased through Fido. The screen has a visible issue: the protective sticker is obstructing the display and affecting visibility, making it difficult to use the phone properly.
This appears to be a hardware defect, not caused by physical damage or misuse. I would appreciate it if you could advise me on the next steps for a warranty inspection or replacement, as the device is still under warranty.
Please let me know if you need any further information, such as the IMEI number, photos of the issue, or proof of purchase.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Abdulrahman Shather

Hello LostSky,
Welcome to the community!
Sorry to hear there is an issue with your new phone. However, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we be in any position to assist with your matter.
Depending on when you purchased the device, you might be eligible for their Satisfaction Guarantee and exchange the defective unit. You can view the stipulations in the link provided. In addition, you should note that the method on how to proceed would depend on how the device was purchased (ie in-store vs Fido.ca etc).
On the other hand, if you purchased the device for a greater period than allowable for the Satisfaction Guarantee, the manufacturer's warranty would still be available (up to 365 days from date of purchase). Unfortunately, however, I'm not sure whether manufacturer's warranty issues are still done through mobile providers. The only mention of in-warranty repair I can still find on Fido.ca relates to their Device Protection (see here). The option to Submit a Service Request forwards to Likewize (Device Protection provider).
As far as I am aware, device warranty issues would be through Samsung Canada directly (see here).
It should also be mentioned that since the forums are a public platform, sharing personal information, such as phone numbers, is generally not recommended.
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers
