Changing Phones

I upgrade my phone to Samsung S24 FE last December and they transferr3d my new sim with the same number in it. Today we upgraded my husband's phone online to Iphone 14. Can I use the iphone with my sim that is in my samsung and my husband will use my samsung with his own Sim card? Basically, we will just swap phones, we are both with Fido. They said they will send an E-Sim with the phone. Thank you.

Welcome to the community!

  Assuming your S24 FE is using a physical SIM, I believe you should be able to swap phones with your husband. As far as I am aware, the Canadian versions of the iPhone 14's still have a physical SIM slot (see here). I understand an eSIM will be sent with the new phone, however, it does not need to be activated. Your husband (or yourself) should be able to use your existing physcial SIMs in either device.
