I ordered a device throught the fido app and up until now, still no update. It's been more than 4 weeks now but the status says it's still unavailable. I tried calling about changing the device I ordered to a different one (a device they just newly posted assuming they have it in stock) just after they posted a different one, and I was told it was also out of stock. Out of stock when it was just posted less than a day. I was constantly checking so I knew it was newly posted. I just didn't change my device because I was told I'm gonna have to cancel my order and make a new one so it's going to be another wait time. I can't even get an estimate on how much longer I'm going to get the device because their support is so hard to reach.

Same here, been over 6 weeks now... and the phone is still being advertised on the website!! This is not the customer service we are used to with Fido... something has changed.

Right?! I've been reading inside the community about back ordered devices and the only response customers are getting is since it is a pre owned device, they still have to wait for returned devices. Or since the system doesn't update right away, they can still get orders for those devices but it's actually sold out already.
Funny thing is, since I really need the device asap, I was constantly checking their website. And when I saw a pre owned iphone 14 pro that was just newly posted (perfect timing that I was scheduled that same day for a callback regarding my back ordered device), I immediately asked the support if I could change my device to the pro instead but if it is going to be back ordered again, then, nevermind. And yes, I was told, it was also unavailable, if I change my device it's still gonna be back ordered. It was literally posted same day!!! 😭

Hi. Idk if my response just didn't went through earlier but I ordered a pre owned iphone 14 pro max 128gb. I've read that since it's pre-owned, it's really going to take some time since fido needs to wait for returned devices. But why is it still posted on the website until now if since last month, or even months before I even ordered the phone, it's not actually available? I know it's been posted for months now because before I proceeded with my order, I've been checking the website for a while and I know it's been there for a while already, a certified pre owned iphone 14 pro max. I just don't understand why it is being advertised when it's not available at all? I'm also not gonna take the reason that the system just didn't update that's why they're able to receive orders when it was actually sold out already because again, it's been posted for months already.
I'm on my 5th week of waiting now and still hasn't received any update yet. I thought the allowance I gave was enough for it to arrive before the time I'm actually gonna be needing it. I even upgraded my plan just so I can get a device.
