I got a notice about the 3G network retirement. Can I get the $0 replacement phone?
Will I need to return my old phone?
Is there any change to my monthly bill or plan?

Hello MaryamMajid21,
Welcome to the community!
Firstly, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we know all of your available promotions.
Unfortunately, I do not see any $0 device options on the website at the moment. It should be noted that with many of the device offers, Fido does not actually discount the cost of the device. Rather, they provide a monthly credit to off-set the device cost. That monthly credit is applied to the bill and not device financing cost. A device shown with $0 would be calcuated after bill credit.
It would be important to note that the monthy financing fee does not actually change, though. If you choose to end the contract early, you would still be required to pay the total remaining balance of the device. That is, the remaining balance would be the regular monthly financing fee x remaining number of months, not $0 x remaining months as the remaining monthly credits would no longer apply.
In addition, you should also note that obtaining a new device with $0 would technically still be financing a device and subject to a credit evaluation.
With Fido's Payment Program, the device financing costs would be separate from monthly service costs. Depending on your plan-type (ie BYOP), you may need to switch to one eligible for device financing (ie Entry or Plus).
You should no have to return your old phone. As far as I am aware, Fido has not offered any lease-type options. Customers would own their devices after any device purchase contact has run its course.
If you would like to go over your options, you would need to contact customer service.
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers
