I am a new customer to Fido and I brought my own iPhone 16. I have various contacts with iPhones and therefore the default sending text messages to them uses the blue coloured iMessage. However, that always fails and I must click the red alert and "send as text message." Why is iMessage failing? I never had that problem with a Rogers account. Is Fido incompatible with iMessage? If yes, no one ever told me that.

Update: I had to force restart my iPhone and then it worked. Not sure why that was needed. Hence this can be closed.
