I have been trying to upgrade my phone for the last hour on fido.ca. Price on website when I'm logged into my account shows $42/month for the phone with a $27 credit/month. When I get to check out, the phone is now $47/month with a $27 credit/month. I have tried to call customer support but I just get the out of office message- no option to get a call back. Hours are until 9PM and it's only 7PM currently. Live chat is not working, I just need someone to confirm if this is a glitch and what I will be charged upon checkout!! Tried to take advantage of the online services that Fido is pushing, but getting increasingly frustrated. Any one experiencing the same issue?

Hello Liz15,
Welcome to the community!
In which Province to you live? Are your GST/PST 12% by chance?
I think the $42 per month is before taxes and they provide the monthly payment for device financing in the summary with taxes ($42 x 1.12 = $47.04). However when they calculate the summary, the taxes are only on the monthly plan for services. I provided an explanation of their breakdown here and here.
Is it possible that the taxes account for the difference you note?
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers
