Voicemail inaccessible

I recently switched to Fido and got an iPhone 7. My plan says that it includes voicemail (regular, not visual). If I hold "1", call my own number, or press the "voicemail" button in the iPhone "Phone" app, I hear "Welcome to Fido's messaging centre. To retrieve your voice messages, enter your 10 digit fido number, followed by the pound key". I enter my number, and then hit the pound key and then I hear "Sorry, that number isn't valid". I've read the "Voicemail - Everything you need to know", as well as searched around these forums and couldn't find a solution.

 

What's going on and how can I fix it?

It looks like there's an option missing on on your voicemail. We will need to take a look at your account to fix this.

My plan says that it includes voicemail.  If I hold "1", call my own number and press # I get: "Sorry that number isn't valid".  I've read everything there is and only found that there's an option missing on my voicemail.  Can I PM with someone to get this resolved?
