I ported-out to Public Mobile then now to Fido and apps and websites still think is still a VoIP number, like for example Uber, Uber Eats, Yahoo, etc. So I often can't use 2 factor authentication or account recovery using SMS.

In order to remove your phone number from VoIP status, you'll need to contact your previous provider that gave you VoIP service.
