Hi,
I am currently outside of Canada for a few months. I would like to suspense my mobile service until I return. I was unable to do so by myself as I always get an error. I am unable to contact support because I'm not in the country.
Does anyone know what should be done in this situation?
Thanks

Hello Hansonb,
Welcome to the community!
Firstly, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we be in any position to suggest alternatives other than contacting customer service.
That said, I understand you had already attempted to suspend your service yourself. However, had you attempted to do so using the app or via your My Account online. If you only attempted via the app, you might consider trying via your My Account --> My Usage. From your Dashboard, the option to Manage temporary suspension can be found under Quick Actions.
If you have been receiving errors with both methods, you will need to contact customer service for assistance. I understand you are currently outside of Canada. They do provide a number to call From Abroad. Calling that number from overseas would not incur roaming charges when called from your Fido SIM (see here). Alternatively, customers should also be able to call that number collect from a landline. Unfortunately, they appear to have removed their customer service via social media options.
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers
