Hello,

I'm new at Fido and I would like to know how they are protecting their clients on the SIM swap fraud? I haven't seen or was asked to do something for securing my account since I'm here, nothing with 2FA or else. How can I add a little bit more security to my account if Fido is not able to provide any?

The thought of losing my ability to access every accounts that my phone has access to is litterally scary...

Hello @anaheb,

In order to combat the SIM swap scam carriers implemented a new procedure if you want to transfer your number into Fido and Fido makes the port request to your current provider they will send you a text message which you have 90 minutes to reply back to or the port request will fail.

Hello Kapable-K,

It was shown that social ingeneering was able to  make someone press the yes button for that request sent by SMS. Is there anything else that is put in place?

Hello @anaheb,

Can you provide where this has been shown?
