Scam or legit. I got a call from someone claiming to be from Rogers/fido with a promotional offer.

Hello everyone. I got a call today claiming to be from Fido/Rogers. They sounded professional but it didnt say Rogers/Fido on the call id. Now since its very difficult to get a hold of Fido with their new crazy system I thought I would post on here. Has anyone received such a call? Is this a scam? I would be saving $40 a month if its not a scam lol. By the way, I called the number back and it was a random lady. So she wont give me any deals lol.

That certainly does look like a scam to me, as we have had reports of peaple trying to impersonate Fido to get a hold of your personal information. You can find out more about different scams by checking this out here.
