Request for Free Calls to Iran Due to Ongoing Crisis

I hope this message finds you well.

Due to the current conflict and severe internet restrictions in Iran, many of us living in Canada are unable to connect with our loved ones back home. These are incredibly difficult times, and staying in touch with family is more important than ever.

I am kindly requesting that Fido consider offering free or discounted international calls to Iran during this crisis. This gesture would mean a great deal to your Iranian-Canadian customers who are deeply concerned about the safety and well-being of their families.

  Firstly, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We would not be in any position to consider your request. 

  While we would not be able to consider your ask, in the mean time, Fido does offer a Preferred rate add-on for International calling. These are the current Standard and Preferred calling rates to Iran:

  As far as I am aware, you should be able to get the add-on via your My Account --> My Usage. From your Dashboard, the option to Browse add-ons can be found under Quick actions.

Hi!

Fido offered free call to Iran, 2 years ago after all Iraninan lost their access to Intrenet due to the government shutdown! Please let us know if there is any other way to follow up with this from other departments!
