Regarding add-on bill credit

Hi,

Last month I took a new sim in one of your stores. As a promotion, the staff gave me 1000 international minutes for free for 24 months (which actually costs $3/month).

Now I want to purchase a phone. After selecting a phone and building my plan, that add-on(1000 International LD Minutes) is charged $3/month(as shown in the below pic).Screenshot 2022-07-09 171959.png

I want to ensure that after purchasing this phone I will not be charged for the add-on.

Please let me know what will happen.

The best way in your case to keep the 3$ promo you have on your account when purchasing a phone is to contact Fido by Chat, to help you with the purchase. Just go to https://www.fido.ca/contact and click the button "Neep help" then type "chat with an agent".

You should note this forum is community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. As such, we would not be able to provide an answer either way.  You would need to contact customer service to see whether the promotion is applicable with your new plan.
