If you would like to change your phone number to one from a different Province, you would likely need to contact customer service. As mentioned in a previous reply, you may need to change your plan as well since many plans are Province-specific. Obtaining an Ontario number will require you to have an Ontario plan. You will not be able to keep any Québec-specific plans. Unfortunately, I don't think the online number change system can accommodate both a change in number and change in plan at the same time. Since the number change will involve a different calling area, I don't believe there would be a charge for their assistance with the change (see here).
If you would like to keep a Québec-specific plan, you would necessarily need to keep a Québec phone number. It would be important to note that there are considerations to keep in mind when choosing to keep a phone number from a different Province. Firstly, people local to your Ontario area could be required to make long-distance calls when calling your number -- even though you may physically be in Ontario. In addition, the taxes on your plan would be from Québec, not Ontario because the number is based in that Province...

I don't believe that is the case anymore. As far as I am aware, the billing address no longer needs to be in the same Province from where the number belongs (see here). However, as mentioned, taxes for the plan would remain dependent on the phone number's region. On the other hand, other account related charges would be taxed based on your address (see here).

Hi @mamaison3699 , you can change your phone number in the fido app. On your app, plan tab, scroll down to change my number and follow directions. Keep in mind that your billing address has to be in the province of the number you are changing to. If your domicile is Quebec, your number is Quebec, if Ontario, then you can change to an Ontario number. Hope that helps
