Yes so the end of the day my fault okay understand . That Is fine Manager I will take full responsibility. I will pay the bill as much as I can time. Please do not put interest charges on it. Because I am on this field as I stated that previous Conversations. I also need my phone Communication and getting around transportation..

I don't like your changes. Trying to get ahold of somebody's different. It's not pleasant.

It's more of a hassle. I'm not gonna change my plan I just keep it the same.

Thank you

Hello again,

As mentioned previously, these forums are community-driven. Many of us do not work for Fido and would not be in any position to consider your situation.

I understand this is a difficult time and receiving such a bill even more distressing. If you're unable to make full payment on the bill, you might consider trying to arrange a payment schedule. To make an arrangement, you'll need to contact the credit operations department. It should also be mentioned that any arrangement would be at the discretion of the credit operations team.

At one time, there used to be an option to Promise to Pay. However, I have not been able to locate that option anymore.

Unfortunately, I do believe they have a late payment fee:

I understand trying to contact customer service might not be pleasant. However, if you would like to address your situation, you would need to contact them again. You may also need to contact their credit operations department as well.

Hope this helps 😀

Cheers

Hello Allen39,

Welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear of your situation. However, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we know the details of your particular situation.

Had you reported your phone lost or stolen? If you did, that should have prevented unauthorised usage on your account if someone else tried to use your lost phone. I do understand you may have post-concussion memory issues. However, it is generally not best practice to to keep your PIN written along with your phone. Anyone gaining access to your phone could use your services and rake up charges on your account. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what concessions might be offered in your situation. Many credit cards won't reimburse fraudulent charges if a PIN was provided on the transaction.

You should note that it is not possible to block all International calling. Fido can place a block on outgoing International calls. However, it should be noted that the block won't be able to cover certain International call destinations with the same Country code (+1). That is, the block won't prevent calls to the US or some other 24 Countries (see here). The block prevents calls made to other Country codes. They can't block the +1 Country code because you wouldn't be able to make any calls within Canada either. Unfortunately, an outgoing International call block on your line would not have prevented those long-distance calls to the United States.

Hope this helps 😀
