1) How much time does a user have to edit the post created by that user before it is locked and no longer editable by that user who created it?

2) How does a user go about deleting posts created by that user if that user no longer wants their content displayed on the Fido forum, specially once it is locked and no longer editable by that user?

Hello AnonymousUser,

According to this post, FidoCharles notes you can edit within 30 minutes of posting. However, personal experience has shown it to be about an hour.

Unfortunately, we are not able to delete our posts we no longer wish displayed. Post deletion can only be done by moderators. I have, in the past, sent PMs to @FidoSolutions requesting them to delete certain posts of mine.

Hope this helps Smiley

Cheers

Thanks @Cawtau it did seem like about an hour.

Hey guys!

I just wanted to come on here and confirm that Cawtau is correct!

You have 60 minutes after you post within which you can edit said post.
