Phone back ordered with no timing available?

Fido was just recently running a promotion to buy a certified pre-owned phone. I purchased a device Feb 19, and learned after it was on backorder as got an email Feb 26. There doesn't seem to be any timelines available on when this might be available?  How do you have backorders on a certified pre-owned? You either have it or you don't, this isn't brand new waiting on a manufacturer order to arrive. 

Any clue as to how long this might take? The price better still be honoured.

As long as the original order isn't cancelled (by the customer), the price is honored! 

There can be a delay with stock when it comes to pre-owned devices as we wait to receive them as returns.
