No Service on My Fido SIM in Egypt

Hi,

I'm currently in Egypt and unable to use my Fido service—it shows "No Service." I need to access my SIM to receive important SMS messages for authorizations. Could you please assist me with this issue as soon as possible?

  Welcome to the community!

 

  Sorry to hear you're not getting any service while abroad. Firstly, what plan-type do you have? You should note that some plans (ie Basic plans) do not allow for roaming. Alternatively, had you placed any roaming blocks on your line? Are you sure there is cellular coverage at your location?

 

  Have you verified your phone's Airplane or Flight mode is disabled? I understand that might seem overly simplistic, however, sometimes smallest things can get overlooked. Have you tried to manually select a network on your device?
