I just got scammed.
The person impersonat as fido client care. One person call in morning says giving offer to the loyal client and give offer for iPhone 16 with my current plan and total pay 39$/mo Keep it option.
Then later on the same day got call from other person act as Fido client care also in caller ID both number shown registered as FIDO.
Then that guy had all details of me including my credit details and the last payment of the bill.
He sent me the verification code from the fido email and then he says the initial charge is charge132$. then ask me for my OTP and charge me twice.
Then the person was keep asking for me OTP and I realized that it's scam and not fido.
Also they were manage to change my plan for fido not sure how !!!!!
I called fido but no good They told me it's social engineer scam. But how they had all details to begin with ? how they manage to change my pan ? how they manage to send the email from the fido mail address ?
please help.

Sorry to hear you fell victim to a scam.
You should note this is a community-driven forum and not meant to be a method of customer service. Since your issue is account-related, you will need to continue speaking to customer service. They should forward your case to their fraud department, and someone from that department should contact you. In the meantime, I would suggest you change the password to your Fido account and the email address you use for your Fido account.
